Well, Stacy went to the orthodontist on Tuesday for a regular visit and came out with rubber bands. She is not a happy camper. We were told at the beginning that she would not need them, but the doctor must have changed his mind. The time has also been lengthened. At first it was 6-12 months, now it is 12-18 months. Maybe he's just waiting for the insurance to finish paying...hee, hee.

Dinner anyone? Lionel has his dad's small wood-burning stove. It's on our patio and sometimes we load it with wood and start it. For dinner tonight, we decided to roast hot dogs over the stove. After a stop at the store on the way home ($6 for the wood, $5 for the hot dogs, $3 for the buns, $3 for the lighter fluid) and raiding the shed for welding rods (to hold the hot dogs over the fire) we each cooked our own dinner. With a spinach salad it was a pretty good dinner and best of all----not many dishes!!!

New Years

Hello 2009! For the New Year, we baked a cake with 2009 written on it. We also put 9 candles on top. At midnight, we blew out the candles and ate the delicious chocolate cake.
