Golfing on the Bay

We played our first golf game (9 holes) today at Morro Bay Golf Course. It overlooks Morro Bay. The weather was cool and foggy and perfect for walking and walking and walking. As for how our golf game went.... well, if we could have a dollar for every stroke we could retire as millionaires. But it was a lot of fun, and we'd like to try it again.

A Walk on the Beach

Thirty years ago, when we were dating, Lionel and I went to the beach. He wrote "Lionel and Kim" in the sand. We took a picture of it. Today he wrote it in the sand again. The water was freezing, but it was fun walking along the beach.

Our Get-away

Lionel and I decided to take small vacation. We flew into San Luis Obispo, CA and we are staying in a hotel in Pismo Beach. Our room overlooks the ocean. I love watching the waves come in. Today we toured the Hearst Castle. We couldn't believe how ornate it was. The tiles in the indoor pool are inlaid with 24 karat gold.

Awesome Student

Just before school ended, we attended an awards ceremony at Stacy's school. She received the 7th grade science award, a two year award for outstanding citizenship, and tow years of straight As. Stacy, we are so proud of you. We love you!!
