Eighth Grade Awards Ceremony; Congratulations Stacy!

Well, the school year is coming to an end and we can't believe that Stacy is finishing the eighth grade. It seems like she just started at Brown Jr. High and now we're looking at high school in the fall. We went to an awards ceremony at the school tonight. Stacy received the art award, a citizenship award for three years of outstanding citizenship, the President's award for academic excellence, and a plaque for three years straight As. We are so proud of her and happy that she is a part of our family. Way to go Stacy!!!!!

Saying Goodbye

It is always sad when family leaves. Stacy was ready to climb in the car with them. Too bad there is still school. Hope to see Adam and Virginia again soon.

Fun Visit

Virginia and Adam were able to come visit for a couple days. We had a houseful Thursday night for dinner. We now have officially outgrown our seating capcity. With Maria and Tim's family, Adam and Virginia, Mom and Dad, and us, we had to bring in the piano bench and a desk chair to seat everyone. But it was fun having everyone together.
On Friday, Adam and Virginia took Stacy to Boulder Beach. It's not quite beach weather, but they had fun anyway.
